These terms apply to every order placed on sanwinbeachwear.com from 25 October 2026. For an earlier order, the terms that applied when you ordered remain in force.

Your order

By placing an order, you accept these terms. After ordering, you receive a confirmation by email. We do our best to keep the information on this site accurate and up to date, but cannot rule out errors. Colours on your screen may differ slightly from the actual product.

Prices and payment

All prices are in euros and include VAT. Delivery costs, if any, are shown before you pay. You can pay with iDEAL, Bancontact, PayPal, Visa or Mastercard; the methods available to you are shown at checkout.

Delivery

Orders placed on a working day before 14:00 (Dutch time) are dispatched the same day, provided the items are in stock. You receive a tracking link by email once your order is on its way. Costs and delivery times per region are on our Shipping page. Outside the EU, import duties and taxes may apply; these are set by the country of destination.

Right of withdrawal

As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you, acquire physical possession of the goods. If you ordered several items in one order and they arrive separately, the period runs from the day you receive the last item.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Sanwin Beachwear B.V., Kieler Bocht 15C, 9723 JA Groningen, the Netherlands, telephone +31 85 212 9216, email info@sanwinbeachwear.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement, for example an email, a letter sent by post or a notice through our returns portal at returns.sanwinbeachwear.com. You may use the model withdrawal form at the bottom of this page, but it is not obligatory. You can also exercise your right of withdrawal online using "Withdraw from contract here" at the bottom of every page of our website, or directly at returns.sanwinbeachwear.com/withdraw. Enter your name, order number and email address and confirm with "Confirm cancellation". If you use this online feature, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt of the withdrawal by email without undue delay, including its content and the date and time of its submission. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication before the withdrawal period has expired.

If you withdraw, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the standard delivery costs (not the extra cost of a more expensive delivery option you chose), without undue delay and in any event within 14 days of the day on which we are informed of your decision. We use the same means of payment as you used for the order, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees for the reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever is the earliest.

Send the goods back to Sanwin Beachwear, Kieler Bocht 15C, 9723 JA Groningen, the Netherlands, without undue delay and in any event within 14 days of the day on which you tell us that you are withdrawing. The deadline is met if you send the goods back before the period of 14 days has expired. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods, unless we give you a free return label. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

100 days to exchange or choose store credit

On top of your statutory right of withdrawal, you have 100 days from receipt to send an item back for another size or for store credit. We send the new size free of charge. If that size is out of stock when your return arrives, you receive store credit instead. Store credit is a code for the amount you paid for the items you return, plus € 5 per return, valid for 730 days. You bear the cost of sending the items back, unless we give you a free return label. Items must not have been worn or been in the water, and the labels and the hygiene strip must still be attached. After the 14-day withdrawal period, a refund of the purchase price is only possible where the law provides for one, for example if a product does not conform to the contract. Warranty and complaints

You are entitled to a product that conforms to the contract. If it does not, you are entitled by law, free of charge, to have it repaired or replaced, or, if that is not possible or does not work, to a price reduction or a refund. This legal guarantee of conformity lasts at least two years, and the law of the country where you live may give you more. If something is wrong with your order, email us at info@sanwinbeachwear.com. We reply to every complaint within 14 days.

In addition, Sanwin Beachwear B.V. gives a five-year commercial warranty on the fabric and stitching of every Tampa, from the date of delivery and in every country we deliver to. The conditions and how to make a claim are on our Warranty page. This warranty comes on top of your statutory rights and does not limit them.

Force majeure

If circumstances beyond our control prevent us from delivering, such as a transport standstill, we may cancel the order. Anything you have already paid will be refunded.

Intellectual property

All content on this website, including texts, photos and designs, belongs to Sanwin Beachwear B.V. Nothing may be copied or used without our written permission.

Applicable law and disputes

Dutch law applies to these terms. If you live in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live. If we cannot resolve a complaint together and you live in the European Union, you may take the dispute to the courts where you live or to the competent court in the Netherlands. We can only take a dispute to the courts where you live.
